Welcome to Summit Middle School Parent Teacher Student Association

Parents, Teachers, staff and community members are encouraged to participate in their Parent Teacher Student Association – PTSA. Your membership in this organization is an important contribution to education at Summit Schools.

• Annual dues of $10 are 100% tax-deductible. We encourage you to help direct the activities of PTSA by sharing your ideas at our meetings. While attendance at our meetings is encouraged, it is not a requirement for joining PTSa.

• PTSa dues go directly toward program or activity grants for teachers, students and student groups and other activities

We will be meeting monthly on the first Friday of every month unless there is no school. Meetings will be held at SMS from 7:45 to 8:45am.

Summit Middle School PTSA Virtual Fundraiser

Please donate to the PTSA Virtual Fundraiser. Every dollar you donate goes directly to benefit our students and staff at SMS! We invite parents to donate $50 per student, but any amount is greatly appreciated. Virtual Fundraising Donations can be paid by check to SMS PTSA by dropping them off at the front office in an envelope clearly marked with PTSA Virtual Fundraiser or by credit card at this LINK.

Every quarter City Market gives $100,000 away to charities. The more of us that designate SMS PTSA and the more we shop at City Market, the more of that money we get. Please sign up below. Thank you!!

If you have a City Market Card please add Summit Middle School PTSA as your community charity of choice. You can do this by:

• Sign in to your digital account.

• Go here to search for your organization

• Enter the name or NPO number of the organization that you wish to support. (Summit Middle School PTSA or AL185)

• Select the appropriate organization from the list and click “Save.”

• Your selected organization will now display in the Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always find these details under your Account details.
